Just like other couples, Eldridge “Edis” Policarpio and Richelle Favor had to put their wedding plans on hold because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but a delivery company helped finally make their dream come true — as a way of thanking Edis for his years of service.
The couple had planned and saved up to get married back in 2020 as they have a son already and had been together for a decade. But the pandemic hit and their wedding had to be postponed because of the lockdowns and mass gathering restrictions.
On top of that, they had to dip into the money they saved up for the wedding so that their family could get through the lockdown. “Yung naipon namin para sa wedding, naubos. Nagastos. Total lockdown. Hindi [na namin] alam kung paano mag-iistart,” Richelle recalls.
