Jake Ejercito Shares Funny Convo With Ellie When He Asked For Hidilyn Diaz’s Autograph

• Staying in touch with your kids is important. Sometimes, it can lead to hilarious conversations you can’t help but share online!

  Jake Ejercito and Andi Eigenmann have always been open about their co-parenting setup with their daughter, Ellie. The 9-year-old spends chunks of time with both parents, heading to Manila to be with dad, and then Siargao to be with mom.

  Jake and Andi also keep communication lines open even when Ellie is away from them. It’s why in his recent Instagram stories (which he also shared on his Twitter account), Jake’s text exchange with his daughter had netizens laughing.

  In a message, Ellie mentioned that she, her mom Andi, and Andi’s fiance Philmar Alipayo will be meeting the Philipines’ sole Olympic gold medalist, Hidilyn Diaz. Naturally, Jake got excited and asked his daughter why they’re meeting the Olympian.

  Ellie’s deadpan reaction was too funny. Her curt reply: “I don’t know.”

  When dad Jake asked, “How could you not know?” the little girl’s reply was still, “I don’t know.” LOL.

  At this point, Jake requested if Ellie could get an autograph from Hidilyn for him. When Ellie asked why, Jake replied entusiastically, “Because she’s the country’s only gold medalist!”

  It took a couple of hours for Ellie to reply to her dad, and when she did, it was to share a photo of her with Hidilyn, haha! 

  

  Ellie’s meme is on point, and her replies were a masterclass in sass!

  In his stories, Jake commented, “Sometimes I’m shocked by how much she’s like me.”

  The dad also wasn’t about to give up on his autograph and asked Ellie if she asked Hidilyn for her signature. Ellie’s response wasn’t surprising at all, simply replying, “No.”
