Moms Share Fave Self-Care Tips: ‘Having Hot Coffee Without Someone Yelling ‘Mom!'”

  • Moms, self-care is just as important as taking care of your kids. Remember to give yourself a break even for a few minutes so stress, exhaustion, or parental burnout won’t take a toll.

    Simple ways to do self-care

Though we are now spending most of our time indoors because of the ever-changing quarantines, it does not mean we can do away with ‘me-time‘. Caring for yourself is something that you can do everyday alongside raising your kids.

On our Facebook page, we asked moms for their favorite forms of self-care during the pandemic. Try their tips and ideas!

    1. Sing and dance all your stress away

It feels good to get lost in your favorite tunes — it even boosts endorphins, also known as the happy hormones. Plug in your favorite music, feel the rhythm, sing your heart out, and dance all your stress away!

You can also try singing karaoke with your partner or friends and make yourself feel young again for a while. This doesn’t take your whole day, so, don’t worry, mom!

    2. Watch videos that will bring your mood up

A lot of moms have already confessed that K-drama is their favorite form of self-care, but there are also others who turn to videos to feel relaxed and motivated. It could be inspirational videos, home transformations (check out our home makeovers here), or anything you like — it’s all on the Internet!

    3. Have your favorite cup of coffee

Nothing is more relaxing than driking a cup of coffee (or tea!). Indulge in your favorite drink, whether it’s black, decaf, espresso, latte — name it and go get it! Whip it when the kids are asleep, so you can have a few moments of peace instead of being distracted with everything that’s happening around you.
