Janella Salvador Opens Up About Dealing With Her Son Jude’s Bashers: ‘Hindi Lang Ako Tatahimik’

• Bashing isn’t—and will never be—right, and it’s especially horrible when children are on the receiving end of it.

  Celebrity mom Janella Salvador recently opened up about dealing with her son Jude‘s bashers in a Magandang Buhay interview.

  ICYMI, Janella and her partner Markus Paterson took to social media earlier this year to expose some netizens who posted horrible comments about their son.

  Talking to the momshies of Magandang Buhay, Janella said her first reaction when she saw those uncalled-for comments about her son was: “Ano ba ‘to, joke ba ‘to? Like, why would you joke about it?”

  “Eventually na-realize ko, it’s not right. Kailangan kung sino man ‘to, matutunan niya yung lesson niya. Ako naman sanay na ako sa pangba-bash…If it’s directed at me, sige, okay lang, dededmahin ko. Pero ‘wag naman sa anak ko na walang kamalay-malay. Kasi if he can’t fight for himself, I’m gonna fight for him,” Janella shared.

  “Hindi lang ako tatahimik ‘pag ganoon. There are some times where you really have to stand your ground.”

  During the interview, Janella gushed about Markus as a dad, saying: “He’s very hands-on. Never ko na-feel sa kanya na parang ayaw niya yung nangyari. Hindi siya naging distant ever kay Jude. From the start, he was there, ready to help and ready to learn so many new things as a dad. Talagang eager siya to learn how to become a good dad.”

  She added that he knows how to do everything when it comes to their son and that she’s “kampante” whenever she has to leave Jude alone with Markus.

  Janella also shared the sweetest message for her son: “I just want you to know that I will always be proud to be your mama. No matter what the world says, no matter what people say, ‘wag kang makinig sa kanila. You made my life even better. You completed my life. Walang nawala sa akin. I gained you.”
