Elisse Joson Introduces Daughter Felize To The World: ‘I Am Also Scared, But Kaya ‘To!’

• Elisse Joson and McCoy de Leon are now ready to share their journey as a new family with the public.

  The celebrity couple chose to keep the pregnancy and baby Felize McKenzie‘s arrival under wraps until they made the official announcement during their guesting on Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10 last October 31, 2021.

  On November 1, 2021, Elisse released a short film on her YouTube channel, giving a glimpse of her pregnancy journey that was once kept private. The over 13-minute video included several videos of baby Felize, from when she was still a newborn up to the most recent ones where she can be seen sitting up already.

  In the latter part of the vlog, there was a short confessional by Elisse, which appeared to be taken during the time when she got her first ultrasound result. “Actually hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala… ‘yung tummy ko is just parang busog, parang bloated. Pero mayroon na palang baby inside,” she shared.

  In the same footage, a tearful Elisse admitted having feelings of fear as a new mom.

  “But siyempre, hindi ko mapakita ‘yung excitement ko din masyado because I am also scared. I don’t know how to be a mom, I bet it’s hard. But kaya ‘to! We will get through it,” Elisse said.

  By the end of the video, baby Felize, Elisse, and McCoy are seen happily sharing a meal as a family. It was also revealed that McCoy directed this short film.

  Aside from the video, McCoy also dedicated an Instagram post to his family.

  Addressing Felize, McCoy vowed to offer her daughter eternal love and protection.

  “Bawat ngiti mo nawawala lahat ng pangangamba namin. [Aaminin] ko natatakot ako sa minsang magulong mundong ito, pero kahit anong mangyari poprotektahan kita hanggat buhay ako. Mamahalin kita nang higit pa sa sarili ko.”

  He also thanked his partner, Elisse, and paid tribute to their relationship, which has gone through its fair share of ups and downs. He ended his heartfelt message by expressing his affection for his family.

  “At sa aking mag ina, Hindi man ako perpekto bilang ama o asawa pero gagawin kong perpekto ang pagmamahal ko para sa inyo,” McCoy wrote.

  McCoy and Elise first got into a relationship in 2016 but later announced their breakup in 2018. It was last June 2021 when McCoy confirmed that the two of them got back together.
