Starting today, October 20, 2021, the government has expanded the implementation of its new alert level system beyond Metro Manila. Along with the National Capital Region (NCR), nearby areas of Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal have received a more relaxed Alert Level 3 status.
Under Alert Level 3, intrazonal and interzonal travel is allowed. According to the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), INTRAzonal means you can go to places under the same community quarantine classification. INTERzonal allows you to go to places under different community quarantine classifications.
Okay, so, it means kids can go outside?
Minors can now leave their homes, but they should be with a parent or guardian at all times, according to Resolution No. 21-24, signed by Metro Manila mayors. Individual outdoor exercise shall also be allowed for all ages, regardless of comorbidities or vaccination status.

You’ve probably seen the crowds at certain places during the first weekend the Alert Level went down. So it may be best to go on weekdays to avoid crowds.
Open areas are ideal as experts will tell you. So based on research and feedback from parents, these are outdoor spaces in Cavite and Tagaytay where kids are welcome to visit.
