Celebrity mom Bettinna Carlos and her husband Mikki Eduardo are currently overseeing the rise of their villa resort in La Union (LU). Also part of the ongoing construction is their dream house.
On Monday, August 23, 2021, Bettinna remembered the first time she visited the property with Mikki sometime last year. The couple then was yet to be engaged; however, Mikki already started the construction of their resort villa.
Bettinna had no idea that part of Mikki’s plan was to build a home within the resort as he seemed to be wholly focused on the resort business.
She wrote addressing Mikki, “It’s been a year since you brought me to this land (‘di pa nga tayo engaged) — the first time we visited LU together you brought me here right away and told me that on this spot is where we will build our future.
“Villas lang non. (Business muna at parang sa kwarto lang tayo there somewhere. Wala nga kong narinig na bahay. [emoji] Kung saan mo kami ititira ni G.[emoji]
“Because for you our comforts can wait. True.”
The “G” in Bettinna’s post refers to Gummy, her nine-year-old daughter from a past relationship.
In her post, the actress continued to give praise and thanks to Mikki for surprising her with a dream home. Bettinna wrote, “You know I always admired your wisdom in money and being content sa payak na pamumuhay Love. [emoji]

She adds, “I couldn’t believe I had a part in something I never worked for to have. Until we got married I would still pertain to it as yours or your family’s villas. I guess surprise blessings like this take time to sink in ano.
“I never thought I’d ever live in a house – a (near the) beach house even or move out of our condo ever. Hello I didnt even think I’d marry! But today this is already what’s being built on that once empty lot. [emoji]”
Bettina and Mikki got married on December 2, 2021, in an intimate Christian wedding ceremony in Tagaytay Highlands. After they got married, Bettina and Mikki decided to relocate to La Union, near the resort villa they are building.
