Remember those days when your baby would be super clingy? You can’t even go to the bathroom without them instantly crying — or following you inside!
If you’re still in that stage, think about this: Your kids won’t be like that with you forever. When they’re all grown up, you will miss those times and you’ll turn into the clingy one!
Whether they’re two or 20 years old, your child will always be a baby in your eyes. Actors and parents Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi feel that way right now — their boy Mavy is flying out of the nest!
Well, not permanently. Mavy and his twin sister Cassy have followed in their parents’ footsteps and have entered show business, and that means Mavy will need to get ready for the long hours of taping. He’s going to Sorsogon for a “lock-in taping,” which means he’ll need to stay in the location for several days to ensure the safety and protection of stars and staff from COVID-19.
Even if Carmina and Zoren know that this day would come, no parent can say that they’re prepared for their little one to grow up and be independent!
In an Instagram post, Mommy Carmina says: “All grown up…. Time for you to spread your wings my forever baby boy @mavylegaspi [baby emoji] Always remember that we are here for you and we are all proud of you! Enjoy! I miss you already. First time kang malalayo samin [crying emojis] We love you Kuya @mavylegaspi.”

Daddy Zoren chimes in, saying: “its hard to let this guy go @mavylegaspi to spread his wings…come back with wider and longer wing span [face with sunglasses emoji] always pray at night and when you wake up [praying emojis] I Love You as my son as my friend [heart emojis]”

Carmina also posted photos of Mavy with the whole family (and their dog, too!), looking teary-eyed over Mavy leaving. In Zoren’s photo, it looks like Mavy shed some tears over the temporary separation, too!
It’s an adorable sight to see how the tables have turned, and it’s proof that parents can become the “OA” one after a few years. So, the next time your baby cries for you or follows you into the bathroom, remember: Just laugh it off! These moments will go by in a blink of an eye, and you’ll be the one clinging to them soon!
