Nikka Garcia has given birth to her and her husband Patrick Garcia’s fourth child and first boy. She made the announcement today, July 15, 2021, on her Instagram account.
Nikka said in the caption of her photo showing her, her husband, and their new baby: “Truly beyond grateful. I couldn’t contain my tears the minute I heard you cry. I am overwhelmed with so much joy! I have never felt this much in love and I couldn’t ask for anything more.”
She added, still addressing to her baby boy, “You and your ates are our answered prayer! We Love you more than you will ever know. World, meet our son, Enrique Pablo.”
Back in January, Nikka and Patrick announced in their family vlog that they’re expecting another child in addition to their daughters Michelle, Patrice, and Pia. A month later, the couple revealed, also in their vlog, that they’re going to have a baby boy.

Nikka said in their vlog posted on July 2, titled “Almost Ready to Pop,” that Baby Pablo had been the biggest and the most active she carried among all their children. She called him a ninja for constantly moving in her tummy.
Patrick agreed, and went on sharing his experience every time he’s touch his wife’s tummy: “Grabe, laging gumagalaw, laging sumisipa round-the-clock. Hindi ’yung may time lang.”
The actor also said that Baby Pablo “could be” their last baby as they’d been “praying about ligation” as a family planning method. He admits, though, “It’s kinda hard for me now,” as he also thinks that “It’s nice to have a big family.”
Turning to his wife, Patrick pointed out, “I think quota ka na. I think four children is enough.” He talked a bit about their discussion for Nikka to have a ligation. “We’re still praying about it. Puwedeng oo, puwedeng hindi.”

He also mentioned their other considerations: “The equal attention we have to give to all of them. Kasi ayaw namin may ma-left out sa attention. Of course, we’re homeschooling. Kaya ba namin kung lahat sila, sabay-sabay nag-aaral, kailangan namin turuan. So we have to take that in consideration. We plan to homeschool as much as we can, hindi lang dahil pandemya.”
Nikka added another consideration: “This is my fourth CS. Hindi naman puwedeng every other year, magpapahiwa tayo.”
Patrick explained further: “It will also take a toll on her body. May usapan kami na cut-off niya, 35 [years old]. Pag 35, pahinga na siya. I’m leaning towards that. Ayaw ko nang pahirapan ang wife ko, ang katawan niya…
“The blessing that the Lord has given us—four children—is way more. It’s above and beyond. To ask for one more is pushing it, parang gano’n.” Patrick has another son, his first-born child, with ex-girlfriend and fellow actor Jennylyn Mercado. The boy, Alex Jazz, is now 12 years old.
