Justine Nunag is an OFW nurse based in the Bahamas, and like many others who are working abroad, one of his fervent dreams is to surprise his mother with something borne out of his efforts.
For Justine, it’s a tiny container-inspired home.
Planned as a rest house with the help of Architect Erwin Mutuc, the space acts as a relaxing haven for Justine’s mom during the pandemic.
The lot itself is at 64sqm, but the floor area of the house itself is only 20sqm. It’s a small, but neatly-arranged one-room affair with a pull-out sofa for a bed, a tiny kitchen and dining area, and all the other downsized ammenities the family needs. The highlights of the space are the patio and an outdoor jacuzzi.
