Lotlot De Leon Posts Cute Photos Of Janine Gutierrez And Vico Sotto As Kids

• When your child follows in your footsteps into your career, how would you feel? In the case of actress Lotlot de Leon, she feels nothing but pride over how her daughter, Janine Gutierrez, has grown up to be an actress by her right, and not merely banking on her showbiz family to become the star that she is now. 

  De Leon posted two photos on her Instagram last July 3, showing how much Janine has always had the knack for acting. As seen in the photos, Janine is on stage, performing in a school production, and loving every minute of it.

  She shares the stage with a “leading man” from an equally famous showbiz family and now a prominent public servant — no other than Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto! 

  In the post, De Leon says: “Kay bilis ng panahon.. ang aking panganay na laging kasama dati sa school play at ang kanyang leading man ay walang iba kundi ang napakahusay na Mayor ngayon ng pasig. [heart emoji] Janine and Mayor Vico. Both meant to be great in their chosen careers! Napakasarap alalahanin at tignan! nakaka proud talaga! Hi babe! @janinegutierrez“

  It turns out that Janine was schoolmates with Mayor Vico Sotto. Both would usually participate in school plays together. Acting runs in the family!

  In the comments section, Mayor Vico and his mom, actress Coney Reyes commented on the post with laughing emojis. Meanwhile, Janine reacted like any embarrasssed daughter would:

  Lotlot must have felt so thrilled whenever Janine would take to the stage (just like any mom!). Luckily, she was able to document such moments, giving her something to look back on and reminisce.
