‘Kami Na Bahala’: Neri Miranda Plans Wedding Reception For Newlyweds In Viral Video

• A wedding is a once in a lifetime event for a couple, with every detail planned to the last detail. When you put your trust on a wedding coordinator that not only does not deliver on their promise but also scams you, it can make any couple feel helpless. What a way to ruin your big day!

  In an article from Cebu Daily News, a couple from Cebu was surprised to arrive at their wedding reception venue to find that there was no booking made for them and their guests. Unfortunately, their couple was nowhere to be found. The bride, Cherry Pie Purisma, was seen crying in the now viral video.

  The video caught the attention of many netizens and celebrities, including Neri Miranda, wife of musician Chito Miranda and soon to be mom of two. She not only offered to shoulder all the expenses of the reception that didn’t happen, but she also included a lot of “wedding presents.”

  She says in her Facebook post that she can relate to how the bride feels. “Bilang naging bride din ako, ang pinaka ayaw natin ay mastress sa mismong kasal natin. Kahit lahat ng tao sa paligid natin, di tayo dapat binibigyan ng stress.”

  The hardworking mom offered to have the couple’s reception held in her restaurant in Cebu, free of charge. “Sagot na rin po namin ang cake, may emcee ka na rin po para may program po ang reception nyo… Wala kayong gagastusin mag-asawa.”

  “Kami na bahala. May pa-pocket money kami sa inyo kahit papaano. ‘Wag ka nang umiyak. Kami na bahala sa inyo,” she adds in her post.

  A day after Neri’s Facebook post, she gave an update that her business partner in Cebu has already met with the bride, saying that they talked about the plans for the reception.

  Neri says in her post, “Deserve ng lahat ng kababaihan na maging mala prinsesa sa kanyang kasal. Minsan lang ‘to! Syempre ang pinakamahalaga yung nagmamahalan sila ng kanyang kabiyak. Simple man ang reception o magarbo, ang importante ay kung ano ang laman ng kanilang mga puso.”
