How To Track The Delivery Status Of Your National ID (5 Million Have Been Deployed)

• Over 30 million Filipinos registered for the National ID or the PhilID (Philippine Identification) and completed steps 1 and 2 of the process as of September 10, 2021.

  In its latest update, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), which implements the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) project, reports over 2 million Filipinos have received their physical PhilID card from the Philippine Post Corporation (step 3).

  And as of September 22, 2021, around 3 million National ID cards are with the Philippine Post, ready for delivery in the coming weeks.  

  That means about 25 million National IDs are pending. And if you’re one of those who have applied and waiting for step 3 (delivery), you are probably worried it might get lost in the mail.

  Well, PSA and the Philippine Post hope to ease people’s minds by putting a tracker in place so you can check the delivery status of your National ID.

  Just go to the Philippine Post website.

  Provide the transaction number. Click the ‘Track’ button.

  

  You will find the transaction number PHL Post requires in your transaction slip finishing Step 2.

  According to PSA, “If there is no result, it means your National ID is still in process.”

  If you still have not registered for the national ID, you need to accomplish Step 1, which is online registration.

  Once Step 1 is accomplished, Step 2 means physically going to any of the authorized registration sites like select Robinsons Mall branches.

  Once you have finished Step 1 and Step 2, the ID will be delivered to the address you indicated.

  National ID is designed to serve as a Filipino’s proof of identity when you transact with schools, banks, and other government agencies.

  Last Monday, PSA and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) signed a memorandum of agreement to use PhilSys to authenticate the beneficiaries of DSWD’s social and financial assistance programs such as the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) and the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS).
