Wife Comes Up With Hilarious Hack To Get The Hubby To Clean His Mess

• A lot of moms secretly wish for dads to learn how to clean up after themselves or put things back where they belong. It’s a simple enough task that dads tend to forget, leaving the missus frustrated. Well, a Pinay wife may have found a solution.

  “Mahirap manermon ng mister pagdating sa pagliligpit sa bahay. Para walang gulo, sa meme nalang natin idaan. Pagod na pagod na ako,” writes Laxmi Mara Tac-an Agno in the Facebook group Home Buddies.

  In a short chat with Smartparenting.com.ph, Laxmi shared that she and her husband, Jayvee, live in a 24sqm condo unit which is why she values cleanliness. “I make sure na palaging readily available ang paglalagyan. Kapag meron kang designated na lagayan para sa bawat bagay, mas madaling makakapaglinis. Siyempre dapat aware ang mga nakatira sa bahay kung saan ito nakalagay,” she explains.

  However, even if she has organizers in place around their condo, it seems that Jayvee still leaves some of his belongings lying around the house. To remind her husband to keep things in their proper places, Laxmi got inspiration online which involves leaving a printout of a viral meme face on top of the things he forgets to organize.

  Fellow wives seem to have related very much with Laxmi’s post and even shared their own ‘hacks’ to motivate their husband to clean up after themselves. 

  “Ang ginagawa ko pinagagalitan ko kunwari ‘yung tsinelas sa harap ng asawa ko. Sasabihan ko na, ‘Ikaw ha, hindi ka talaga marunong lumugar!’ Tapos papagalitan din niya ‘yung tsinelas sabay aayusin na niya. Subuk na subok ko na ito, lumulugar talaga ‘yung mga bagay-bagay sa bahay,”  one wife wrote.

  Another suggested, “’Wag ninyo po ligpitin. Tiisin ninyong maipon kahit 1 week. Hayaan niyong siya na mismo mag-reklamo haha!”

  To other couples who are busy with work and caring for the kids, but would still like to keep the house organized, Laxmi suggests doing small cleaning steps when you can. “’Yung mga bagay na pwedeng magawa, maitabi, malinis agad, pwede nang gawin para maiwasan ‘yong pag pile up ng gawain. The more na malinis ang bahay ninyo, mas mahihiya ang partners natin na magkalat,” she shares.
