How Does A Beauty Queen Flaunt Her Baby Bump? Rachel Peters Shows Us

• Since Rachel Peters shared, in May 2021, the good news of being in the family way with her-now husband, Camarines Sur governor Migz Villafuerte, the former beauty queen has been having a ball showing off her baby bump on social media.

  Rachel, who represented Philippines in the Miss Universe pageant in 2017, posted her first maternity photo just a few days after making the announcement. But she admitted, “Haven’t quite figured out the belly hold yet.”

  By the end of the merry month of May, the excited mom-to-be shared a shot of herself lying on the beach. She was then 16 weeks pregnant and wondering why her baby bump hasn’t showed up yet.

  She also had this realization about pregnancy: “It turned out to be a defining morning for me as a woman learning to love and appreciate this vessel that is carrying a precious little life.”

  

  Rachel says, “Pregnancy is such a trip.”

  In July, Rachel proudly showed off her baby bump and candidly shared her thoughts. She said, “Lately I’ve been catching myself looking at old photos and feeling an overwhelming wave of sadness about how much my body has changed over the last few weeks.

  “I often feel like a completely different person but then I take in deep breathes and remind myself of the beautiful blessing growing inside me and am filled with gratitude and excitement for what’s to come.”

  She added, in parenthesis: “Pregnancy is such a trip.” And this postscript: “Not sure if there are any mama’s to be out there that need to hear this- but you are beautiful!!”

  A month later, in August, Rachel shared a collage of snaps showing her progression from Week 5 to 29, which she calls “bump explosion.” She happily reports, “It’s safe to say I’ve officially popped.”

  Since then, Rachel has been flaunting her baby bump, usually in her beach wear because she just loves being in the water. She lamented having to put on hold her trips to the beach until her baby arrives.

  In one of her recent posts, Rachel posed with Migz and joked about blending with the decor of her baby shower. She said, “Fully embracing my current lemonesque figure (although I actually felt more like a mango).”

  But in her formal maternity shoot she looks smoldering sexy, just like when she wowed in the beauty pageants.

  

  The excited mom-to-be calls this point in her life as “truly incredible and transformational.”
