Earlier this year, Zubuchon distributed ready-to-heat packs of their delicious lechon in supermarkets.
If you didn’t get to buy it or haven’t seen it during your recent grocery runs, it will soon be easier to score a pack because it will soon be available at 7-Eleven, too.
In an Instagram post of Joel Binamira (a.k.a Marketman), the founder of Zubuchon, he says that the target date for rollout at 7-Eleven stores is on August 18, but it may take until the end of the month for all stores to have it.
Each ready-to-heat pack has 250 grams of boneless lechon, priced at P349.
“We carefully select the best pork bellies, brine them overnight, stuff them with the finest ingredients and roast them over charcoal for 2+ hours.
They are cooled, chopped in our commissary kitchen, and packed and frozen solid before distribution in freezer trucks to 7-Eleven! Our frozen lechon is FDA tested and approved,” Joel explains in his post.
