Ang tanong ni Boy: “When is it okay not to be okay? And when is it not okay to be not okay?”
Ang sagot ni Karen: “You know, sometimes, it’s hard to move on especially that if we lost our loved ones, when we’re depressed, when we have anxiety, but most of all, when we want to move forward in life.
“You know, my favorite saying in a movie Disney, Inside Out, is embrace your sadness because in embracing your sadness you will feel happiness afterwards.”
Sabi ng isa sa kanila, “It is ok not to be okay when you stop and rest if you are tired of all your struggles and worries. It is not okay to be ok if you’re forcing yourself up to do things that you are no longer happy with.”

That’s the time that I will tell my children and husband na pagod na si mommy so please help me and I thank them afterwards.”
Dagdag pa niya, “Then it’s not ok that you’re ok when in fact you are really not lalo na kung ang purpose is just to impress people. Tayong mga nanay, supermom tayo most of the time, but not all the time.”
Sagot naman ng kapwa nila mommy, “It’s okay not to be okay when you already did your best but still it is not enough ’cause you’re only human. And it’s not okay to be okay when other people is abusing you or hurting you yet you still let them do it.”
Lahad ng isa pang mommy, “It’s ok not to be okay because this is also a way of coping up from sadness and anxieties. As a parent, there are times that we feel na parang wala na tayong karapatan maging weak, or malungkot kasi we have children that depend on us. Na dapat palagi tayong malakas. Pero kelangan din natin tanggapin na tao lng din tayo, and it’s ok to feel that we’re sad.”
Dugtong niya, “Then, it’s not ok to be not okay if we let those negativities ruin us. If we’re feeling down, let your family know, ask for help. Magdasal at humingi ng kalakasan mula sa Panginoon.”

Mga sagot pa ng mommies
“Parenthood is never easy. There are times when you feel overwhelmed, but it’s okay to keep calm despite the adversities. Being a mom means you get to enjoy the company of your children while they learn from you and you learn from them. It’s not okay to pretend that you’re okay when you’re not since your sanity could be affected.”
“Okay lang mapagod, okay lang magpahinga, pero hindi okay tumigil. Every day is a battle. It’s okay to rest when you get tired. But it’s not okay to stop or give up. Para sa pamilya, mapapagod, pero hindi susuko.”
“As a solo parent my answer would be. It’s okay not to be okay, but don’t stay that way. It is normal to feel down, get anxious and cry sometimes but never let these negative emotions drive you ruin your life because if you do that is when it is not okay not to be okay. Believe that you have God who will never forsake nor harm you and has great plans for you. That will be all, thank you. Chaaar!”
“It’s ok to make mistakes in rearing your children as long as you can be humble to admit those mistakes, make corrective measures & restitution. It’s not ok to disrespect your children, repress their growth & exploit them for your own selfish gain. It’s not OK to be OK with allowing your children to do as they please just because you are benefitting from their lawbreaking or immoral activities.”

“It’s not okay to be okay to postpone my laundry schedule. And it’s not okay to invalidate my emotional problem.”
“Having a son with special needs, every day is an okay day. You should be able to instill positivity and goodness to your child even though a day is not ok. I should be able to raise and teach my child to see the silver linings when things are not good.”
