One couple got married in t-shirts and jeans, and another had a drive-through isaw wedding reception!
Let’s introduce you to another couple from Cebu who got married just last November 25, 2020. The two have gone viral for their pre-wedding photo shoot’s theme, Money Heist.
It’s all right if you are not familiar with the Spanish series, which airs on Netflix and is now on its fifth season (yes, many people watch it). The title of the series alone must give you pause.
Heist means stealing something, and the show is about a group of people who rob banks. Their “uniform” happens to be a red jumpsuit and a Salvador Dali mask, which has become a popular Halloween costume. But a prenuptial shoot?
Well, Andrew Roilo wanted something different, as he tells us in the video below. He already pulled off an engagement proposal inspired by On The Wings Of Love, a series that starred Nadine Lustre and James Reid.
It is safe to guess that show was Inez Jade Quial-Roilo‘s favorite, now his wife, with the way she lighted up with a big smile when her husband mentioned it. So, in a way, Money Heist was Andrew’s turn.
It was the red overalls that probably sealed the deal. “It reminded us of the PPE,” Andrew said.
By now, you know what PPE stands for, and it’s this couple’s uniform in their jobs. Andrew is a nurse who works in London, while Inez is an ob-gyn resident in Cebu.

It’s also about teamwork and making an effort for the person you love. As the couple discussed the process of doing it, Andrew and Inez talked about how they had to get out of their comfort zones, trust each other, and learn to give and take.
Sure, weird theme, but as Andrew said, he and Inez were “partners in crime.” The work they had to put in behind the scenes makes this pre-wedding shoot a memorable experience — their way show and honor their commitment to each other.
