Dads can be quite the handymen and with families activating their “home buddy” mode, they were able to make use of their skills during the extended community quarantine. We’ve seen them renovate tiny homes, turn cribs into sofas, and make play houses for the kids — it’s true that moms were able to save a lot thanks to their spouses’ DIY projects.

For Father’s Day, we asked moms to “flex” their husband’s pagbubutingting inside the house and they did not disappoint! From cabinets, play gyms, and plant racks, here are some of the best DIY items that dads built for their families.

Hector Delos Reyes, a seafarer, also made a sturdy shelf for his kids. “Made of plywood siya. ‘Yung mga nabibili kasi online, mostly MDF (engineered wood composite),” explains his wife, Che.
