Taking care of a baby, especially your first child, is difficult. Yes, you love your baby to bits, but it doesn’t mean that it’s not exhausting. Mothers are said to be selfless for a reason!
Celebrity host Billy Crawford is experiencing firsthand what it’s like to be a first-time parent to son Amari and the selfless efforts of his wife, actress Coleen Garcia. On an Instagram post, the dad shared a photo of Coleen who fell asleep while breastfeeding their 11-month-old.
“Y’all don’t know how much this woman gives! I want Amari to see this when he grows up and realize how much mommy sacrificed for him,” the host wrote as caption to the photo.
He adds, “We both thank you mommy for being a wonderful mom and the best wife to a pasaway husband!”
Beyond all the changes — mentally, physically, emotionally — that happen to mothers during pregnancy, having children changes everything, from a woman’s priorities to your relationship with your husband or partner. It’s heartwarming to see how husbands like Billy recognize such changes, not to mention, the sacrifices that moms silently take on, without anyone asking them to — they do it out of love for their children and their family!

Fellow celebrity dads also left positive comments, cheering Billy and Coleen on their parenting journey and encouraging Billy to keep on being a good partner after he jokingly said in the same post that he was a “pasaway husband.”
“Kaya kelangan natin bumawi everyday, forever,” wrote Parokya ni Edgar frontman, Chito Miranda, Jr.
“I have the same kind of photo of Cheska [Nolasco]. Our wives are strong,” echoed singer-actor Guji Lorenzana. Meanwhile, mixed martial artist Brandon Vera commented a heart-eyes emoji and several flexed bicep emojis.
Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano, wife of singer Gary V., jokingly (perhaps half-jokingly?) commented: “So please behave yourself Billy Joe. That girl is also a daughter to me okay! Love you both.”
All kidding aside, appreciating the mother of your children with small gestures of just merely acknowledging what they do for the family, or helping them out around the home, or taking turns in caring for your child, will go a long way!
