Moms Can Relate! Ellen Adarna’s Son Elias Gives Her The Most Adorable Side Eye

• It’s the little quirks in your kids that make you go “aww!” Last June 30, actress Ellen Adarna was at the receiving end of the cutest side-eye you’ll ever see, courtesy of her 3-year-old son, Elias.

  In an Instagram video that the mom uploaded on her account, Elias can be seen eating a chocolate biscuit while watching on a mobile phone. But after Ellen realized he had one too many treats, she quickly took the uneaten ones away.

  As Ellen said, “Too much na, okay,” and touched her son’s shoulder, Elias could not help but give her a side eye. LOL!

  

  This video launched a thousand memes that the mom gamely shared on her Instagram stories.

  But Ellen knows her son all too well — her Instagram caption showed how funny she found Elias’ quirk, writing, “My son is a Zen Master in controlling and managing his emotions. Low-key angry, high-key civilized.”

  Getting a 3-year-old to share their food, especially when it’s a treat that’s as yummy as a chocolate biscuit, isn’t an easy thing to do, even if it is with their mom. Raise your hand if you know this to be a fact!

  But Elias, being the “Zen Master” that Ellen calls him to be, reaches out his cookie after she asks for it. He doesn’t even cry or whine when the pack of biscuits is taken away — a great sign that Elias is great at self-regulating and managing his emotions, wow!

  

  We know how it feels when your favorite food is taken away, Elias! But we admire how he gave it up easily, without throwing a tantrum.

  Comments on Ellen’s IG post — which has almost 1.7 million views as of this writing — were a mix of emojis and funny comments. Some were saying that they would react the same way as Elias did, but most applauded Elias’ “zen master” ways and his mom’s parenting. 

  One of the comments read: “Soooo cute!!! [heart eyes emoji, heart emoji] Bait ni Elias… other kids would throw [a] tantrum pero siya cool lang. [smiling emoji, heart emoji]”

  

  Elias, who celebrated his third birthday last June 27, is Ellen’s son with ex-boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz. Ellen and John Lloyd are co-parenting Elias, which is how we get to see Elias pop up on his parents’ social media now and then.
